What's Your Perspective?

Perspective is powerful. Our attitudes and mindsets steer our lives. If they aren't healthy or helpful, we can find ourselves continually stuck in the same situation wondering how it happened and how to get un-stuck. Perspective is how we view things based on our beliefs, experiences, values and knowledge. Mindset shapes our thoughts, which influence our emotions and actions. Perspective and mindset are closely aligned a play a significant role in how we define and interact with our environments.

Want to experience powerful change?

1. Acknowledge where you are (be brutally honest)
2. The role your thoughts (perspective and mindset) have played
3. How actions (or inaction) have contributed to your current condition
4. Take a deep breath, close your eyes and imagine waking up and living out a day as the best version of yourself. How does this feel? What needs to shift for you to make this a reality?

The great news is our perspectives and mindsets are under our control. We may not be able to control what's happening around us, but we can control what's happening within us. Taking bold action is usually the most challenging part of making change. Going from 0 to 1 requires the most energy, however, once in motion the momentum adds to our efforts and we can realize a powerful shift.
